Here’s a quick description of each finish:Īmplified – Highly pigmented and long wearing, smooth and slightly glossy.įrost – Shimmery, give a frosted finish, slightly glossy, slightly pigmented but not sheer.Ĭremesheen – Creamy and glossy making them highly moisturizing but not as long-lasting, in between sheer and opaque. Personally, my top 3 finishes are Matte, Satin and Cremesheen – but I also love Amplified! I have 1 Frost, 1 Lustre, 6 Satin, 2 Cremesheen, 1 Amplified and 8 Matte lipsticks. I like to arrange my lipsticks in a way that is aesthetically pleasing to me, as the image above – although it doesn’t make much of a difference when the lids are on, but it helps me remember which lipstick is where so I can grab it and go rather than search for the shade I need. I store my MAC lipsticks in an acrylic organizer by MUJI (Their acrylic storage is the best for storing makeup). I’ll start by saying that I’ve been collecting these for a while now, I have 18 from their normal collection and one Limited Edition lipstick! It’s currently only a small collection consisting of 19 lipsticks (well, small in comparison to the beauty vloggers on YouTube anyway!) Just as any other makeup obsessed person out there.I love to collect MAC lipsticks! I mean, who wouldn’t? There are so many colours and finishes to choose from, there’s a lipstick to suit everyone! I love looking at other people’s MAC lipstick collections, so I thought I’d share mine!
